Mauzy's bio

[Mauzy]Mauzy made her BBT debut in last year's production of Robin Hood: the sequel as Target, the loyal (but not too bright) deputy to the Sheriff of Nottingham. Her character picks up where her brother Bulls-eye (the Sheriff's assistant in the original) left off.

The below bio is used with Mauzy's permission:

Mauzy has been performing since the tender age of three when she took her first step on stage and promptly threw up on her parents who were seated in the front row. Over the years she has, thankfully, learned how to control her stage fright by appearing in such productions as: Curley: The Musical (Newboy), Lend Me a Tenor (Diana), Joey and Maria's Italian Wedding (Sister Mary Tortellinni), Oklahoma (Ado Annie), Aaron and Sharon's Mishugana Wedding (Sharon), Our Town (Emily Webb), The Wake of Matty O'Malley (Mrs. O'Malley), You Can't Take It With You (Olga), Forever Vaudeville (various burlesque roles) and Goodbye Miss Lizzie Borden (Emma).

Mauzy has also worked as a disc jockey at some of Boston's biggest radio stations, including WBZ, WBZ-FM, WCOZ-FM, WROR-FM and, most recently, WKLB-FM. She would like to thank her husband for his unending support and her parents for their unending encouragement...oh yes, and for overlooking her childhood attempt at "performance art."
