Boston Baked Theatre |
Owner of 148-seat theatre in Davis Square, Somerville. Produced back-to-back theatrical productions from September through June. Retained two full-time employees and between 6-12 actors as well as contracturally employing directors and designers for each production. Able to maintain the theatre financially on ticket sales alone. Built a market of 9000 families and 600 schools as regular patrons. Both evening adult entertainment of scripted shows and children's theatre were produced in repertory.
Administered, managed and supervised all pre-producing preparations including solicitation of original script materials, establishment of the season schedule, and all marketing involved. Hired actors, directors and designers. Personally involved in all aspects of theatrical business including house management and all financial responsibilities. Direct participant in costume design and coordination, set design and construction and assistance in light design and board operation.
Founder of this theatrical troupe committed to artistic excellence. Company objectives included planning, production, and management of all aspects of theatrical events. Productions include:

As a Registered Nurse, Associate Director of Nursing and Inservice Director, produced and directed training videos for area long-term care facilities. These videos include You Bet Your Benefits, Safety At the Bedside, The Things That "Bug Us" and Life's Milestones.
