Davis Square Theatre Closing Notice

Dear Patrons,

Due to unfixable problems with the theatre facility at Davis Square, we decided to vacate the space with the expiration of our lease on June 30, 1997. It was a tough decision to leave the theatre where we had spent the past ten years and built a large and loyal audience, but with no room to expand and rising rent, it was really not a choice but a necessity.

At this moment, Boston Baked Theatre and Basic Theatre Company, the two companies in residence at the theatre, are without a home, but we're actively searching for a facility that meets the needs of our production staff and our audience.

We'd like to express our gratitude to all of the people who have honored us with their support over the years.
