The Garfield Elementary School has a beautiful 300 seat proscenium theatre in the George V. Colella Community Center. It is located only one block from Revere Beach, just off Ocean Ave. Getting to The Garfield School is easy! Just keep going until you see the Atlantic Ocean, then turn left. 8^) Details below. On the MBTA (The Garfield School is a five minute walk from the T)

Take the Blue Line to the Revere Beach stop. Come up through the turnstiles, turn right, exit through the Shirley St doors, then turn left after you go out the doors. A short walk up to the big T sign and you will see 4 Orr Square to your right, and Revere Beach to your left. Cross the street and keep walking up Garfield Ave, on the left side, you will see the Blue Line tracks to your left. The school is about a five minute walk from the T. Ask anyone where The Garfield School is if you need reassurance.

Take Route 16 East to Revere (Revere Beach Parkway). You will cross Route 28 where the Kappy's Liquor store is prominent. After that intersection, you will see the Wellington Orange line T stop on your right, then you will cross over a lift bridge. Be careful, Santilli Circle is the next feature of your trip. Go 3/4 of the way around to stay on Route 16 East. Next, you will travel through a long series of lights, pass under Route 1, pass the exit to Route 107, pass a Prime Gas station on your left, and the next light, at Boston Electric Supply, is Route 145, Winthrop Ave. Turn right, cross under Route 1A. Get in the left lane, you will turn left when you pull up to the next light, onto North Shore Rd, where there will be a Sunoco station on the corner to your left. You will also see Suffolk Downs on your right, and a Shaw's Supermarket on your left just ahead. Once you make the left you will make an immediate right onto Eliot Rd.

Take Route 1A south to Revere. When you get to Wonderland, on your right, go 3/4 around Butler Circle, and continue on North Shore Ave past the Stop & Shop on your right and Stern's Hardware store on your left. When you get to the light continue straight through. See Atlas Auto on your right, and keep going until you get to Eliot Rd, the last left you can take before you hit Winthrop Ave. There is a Sunoco station on your right, across from Eliot Rd. Turn left onto Eliot Rd.

From all other points South (Quincy/Braintree/Roxbury/South Boston)

Take 93 North, through the city, and past Assembly Square Mall and the Sony 12 Theatres. Get off at Exit 29, Route 28-38, Somerville-Everett. Bear to the right and follow the signs to Route 28. Take Route 28 to Route 16 East Revere, where the Kappy's Liquor store is prominent at the intersection of 16 and 28. Turn right onto Route 16 East. Next, you will travel through a long series of lights, pass under Route 1, pass the exit to Route 107, pass a Prime Gas station on your left, and the next light, at Boston Electric Supply, is Route 145, Winthrop Ave. Turn right, cross under Route 1A. Get in the left lane, you will turn left when you pull up to the next light, onto North Shore Rd, where there will be a Sunoco station on the corner to your left. Once you are on Eliot Rd

Go straight on Eliot Rd, past Clarke St and Curtis St on your left, then turn left onto Garfield St. In the great New England tradition, there are no street signs on Eliot Rd. However, you will know Garfield St because there is a US mailbox on the corner to the right. Turn left onto Garfield St. The school is just a few blocks down the street.
