Barnette Lloyd, a young lawyer, has been hired to handle Babe's defense. Meg, protective of her little sister, fears that Barnette is too inexperienced for such a difficult case. (Especially since it means taking on the most powerful man in all of Hazlehurst.) But Barnette feels he has a solid plan of attack -- and compelling reasons to carry it out.
