Baby Bear: Child of Papa and Mama Bear. Young, innocent and cute. Asks a lot of questions. Quote: "Excuse me...can I have my bed back? I'm really sleepy."

Mama Bear: Wife of Papa Bear, mother of Baby bear. Hard-working, sensible and kind. Takes good care of her family. Quote: "No, we're having roots and berries tonight...we're bears, remember?"

Papa Bear: Husband of Mama Bear, father of Baby Bear. Gruff, somewhat cynical, but good at heart. Loves a meal of porridge after a hard day at work. Quote: "...and one of the Pigs keeps stealing our cocktail straws. He says he's building a house out of them, I don't know."

Goldilocks: Younger daughter of Mother. Lazy, mean and spoiled rotten. Usually gets her way. Quote: "No way I'm gonna stay cooped up in my room for a month. There's a whole forest's worth of mischief waiting to be gotten into and I'm gonna get into some of it."

Mary: Older daughter of Mother. Sweet, intelligent and obedient. A big help to her mother. Quote: "That's my little sister, the monster. Almost everybody's got one like her. Sometimes they come in the little brother variety..."

Mother: Parent of Mary and Goldilocks. Generous, patient and forgiving. Knows she is too lenient with her younger child. Quote: "She used to be my sweet little Goldilocks. Whatever happened?"
