This is our sworn enemy, the Sheriff
of Nottingham. He's supposed to serve the best interests of the
townspeople. Instead, he spends most of his time thinking up new
taxes to impose.
Quotes: "Because, you numbskull, if it's a thousand, then when you win, my cut is half, or five hundred. But if I make it fifteen hundred, then my cut, being half, will be...uh...nine hundred and fifty."
"Of course I'll get away with it. I'm the Sheriff of Nottingham. I get away with everything."
"You haven't heard the last of this, you--you bandits! Outlaws! DEMOCRATS! I'll get you someday, ROBIN HOOD!"
Notes: Mark Leahy (above,
with Bulls-eye and
Alan A'Dale),
played the dastardly nemesis of Robin Hood.
The Sheriff's impressive-looking mustache was
a costume piece, which Mark had to attach with a special kind
of glue before each performance.
