This is Maid Marion, the sweetheart of
Robin Hood. She is the ward of the Sheriff, who refuses to let
her leave his court. But every chance she gets, she comes out
to Sherwood Forest to see Robin - and to take pickpocketing lessons
from Tuck.
Quotes: "M'lord, I have no wish to offend you, but I cannot pretend to remain interested in sewing and stitching, or tea and crumpets."
"Rob -- in hood? I like that."
(To Sheriff): "I would rather swim through a crocodile-infested moat!"
Notes: Liana Maria Reda
played the lovely Maid Marion in Robin Hood.
The music for Maid Marion's big solo, "Secret
of the Air," was written especially for Liana's voice. (Michael
Domino composed all of the music for Robin Hood, as well
as Robin Hood: the sequel.)
