Rapunzel
The Story

Often, from my home beneath their garden, I could hear the peasants singing a wistful ballad about their heartfelt longing...

Excerpt from "The Time":

Etta Sue: It's getting late as I wait for the time
I'm holding my little girl or boy
A "boo" and a "peek," hide and seek
And a furry, stuffed toy...

Martin: Lately I seem to daydream of the time
I'm singing a lullaby, and I'll
Fly to the moon, or act like a loon
For one little smile.

Both: When you wish as hard as we wish
Try after try
It doesn't seem quite fair-ish
Knowing the stork has passed us by...

We'll sing our song, and be strong 'til the time
We see what the other parents see
someday it's true, instead of just two,
We'll be three...
