Prince John: Only son of the Queen. Smart, funny but insecure. Dislikes being pampered by his mother. Quote: "A real, true Princess through and through. But it's not just because she is of royal blood, but because she is simple...and unselfish...and loving. And no one can see her but me."

Princess Hannah: Princess of Netherglenn (a tiny kingdom on the edge of the Great Sea). Sweet, intelligent and strong. Has chosen to make her own way in the world. Quote: "A test is just like a game that you play against yourself. If you try your best, it's hard not to win."

Queen: Current ruler of the Friendly Kingdom. Kind, generous and very superstititous. Dotes on her only child. Quote: "More gifts? How sweet. Let's see if any of them are suitable for my baby!"

Upstairs Maid: Senior of the two royal maids. Prim, proper, enjoys her duties. Particularly enjoys bossing other servants around. Quote: "Well, I can't think of anything we forgot. Can you? I said, can you? Wake up!"
