Beauty and the Beast The Story

Unfortunately, the happy letter was mistaken. The found ship did not belong to my father and our family. Sadly, father began his return home without all the lovely presents he had promised.

Suddenly, there came a freak thunderstorm. It rained so hard that my father caught cold and drew near death. But a kind, mysterious gentleman rescued my father and nursed him back to health in the warmth of the sunlight in his magical garden. This enchanted garden was filled with the most lovely roses. In return for his health, my father was never to look upon the face of his benefactor and to promise never to touch the beautiful roses.
