I remember when my father got the happy letter from the harbormaster that said his long lost ship had been found. My lovely sisters were so excited!

Father left happily, promising us the most lovely presents upon his return. Vanitia was to get powder and combs and Covetina was to get a charm and a pendant and my sister, Lazinea, was to receive a large sack of Idaho potatoes. Idaho are her favorite. My present was to be a simple, perfect, lovely rose.
