Ali Baba & the Forty Thieves Show Characters

Calvin leads a band of forty thieves that travel around from village to village, plundering and looting wherever they go. He has visions of conquering the world, one region at a time. First on his list is Persia, which supposedly needs a new Sultan - him!

Quotes: "Where are my thieves? I have somehow misplaced thirty-eight of my forty thieves!"

"That'll show anyone who tries to trespass on the property of Calvin the Master Thief that they're not in store for some hula dance party with grass skirts and drinks with little umbrellas in them!"

"Um...I am to be called, um...Monsieur, um...Monsieur Cafe. Yes. Monsieur Cafe. That is me."

Notes: Dodie Domino (above, with Morris and Chester) played the scheming, demanding Calvin the Great.

To portray the gruff thief leader, Dodie used makeup to give herself a five-o'-clock shadow. Later, when posing as a French merchant, she added a fake mustache.
